And here are the three finished paintings. This was also an experiment for me to try my hand at watercolour, and I must say I loved it so. I should do more watercolour ;u;
I dunno if I ever talked about the Third Star one, but one thing I loved about it was doing the stars. I basically cut three stars out of tape, placed them on the paper, painted the sky and then removed them so the space limited by them would remain white and the painting around them would look seamless. :3

Based on this wonderful pic. I admit I kind of rushed the Creature at the very last minute, I just wanted to get the effect of the lights just right.

Some drawings I made for an assignment. They’re different parts of Coimbra that I most frequently visit. I didn’t pay much attention to the proportions or perspective, I must say, but it was good practice.
- Pencil and black pen on Moleskine sketchbook, touched up in Photoshop CS5, ~2/3 hours each
More uni stuff, this time for Photography class.
This assignment consisted in making an appropriation of a photographer we had studied in class, and I decided to go with Portuguese photographer Helena Almeida. She did a series of photographs upon which she paints, and this one in particular inspired this series.
#1, #2 and #3 were the teacher’s favourites, though I’m quite fond of #4 and #5 too. #3 is my absolute favorite, I’m quite proud of it. C’:
